Nfu Oh #62 + China Glaze Visit Me In Prism

Easter has been amazing here, the weather has been warm, sunny and we've had lots of small barbecues, super yummy!

As for most of nail polish fanatics, a sunny day calls for something sparkly in my stash... Since I still have holos I haven't tried yet, I decided to try one; my very first holo from Nfu Oh - #62. It's a nude/champagne holo with a strong pink tone, very warm and flattering if a silver holo like Gosh Holographic makes your fingers go lobstery.

I tried it using two base coats; NailTek II Foundation and Gosh Fix Base Coat... and the difference was enormous. 

Applied on NailTek II, it was a nightmare I've never tried before - bald patches, pulls, you name it. It took me three coats and as few strokes as humanly possible for it to look decent.

On Fix Base Coat, however, it behaved a lot better. Two coats was enough, and I could be a bit sloppier as usual applying them, LOL! Promise me you'll invest in this basecoat or Nfu Oh's Aqua Base Coat if you try these super dense holos - it'll save you layers, trouble and annoyance! I can't emphasize this enough ;)

Even though it's amazing, it's kind of dull inside. The nude colour make my nails look invisible, lol. Not so fond of these super-fine-particle-holos for everyday use :/ I spend too much time inside.

I decided to knock it up a notch with another similar holo, China Glaze's much coveted Visit Me In Prism. This polish was a total lemming for me, it's my ultimate favourite from the Kaleidoscope collection. A big plus in these are that their rough particles rocks inside too! :) I used one coat on top of #62. It's a shame I forgot to take pictures outside of this combo, it looks less phony/grainy IRL. My flash is trying to kill it, lol.

I love the combo!! Visit Me In Prism is quite sheer on its own I believe, so this huge bottle of Nfu Oh serves well as base, lol! Don't feel sorry for #62, it'll get the love it deserves on days I need something neutral for a day outside ;)

Catherine Arley #668

First, let me thank all of you who responded to my last post :) I'm super grateful you like it the way it is, and I will try to include more pictures every now and then to knock it up a notch!

Meowth is a medium tan kind of colour. I'm certainly no expert on these shades, but I say for sure that it's a lot browner than my skintone (I'm so pale I blind people! LOL). While I don't think it suits my skintone when it's not flashing rainbow particles (no colour can look unattractive while mimicking the rainbow, I'm that easy to please!), I did enjoy wearing a neutral colour. Maybe I'm just not used to this sort of shade?

I used NailTek II, two coats of Meowth and Fast Forward. It's still rather sheer, but it was acceptable at that point. Expect three coats or even four if you want complete coverage!

While the difference is not that easy to spot in pics, I think Meowth is very different IRL. It has much more fine particles, but they share the same kind of holographic effect - linear, but still scattered. My favourite? While they're very different, I'll be reaching for Spin Me Round next time, as I love the rough holos ;)

Which do you like the most - if any? Do you have either, or do you want them? What's your opinion about subtle colours as holos - yay or nay?

China Glaze : Octa Gone Wild (+ring!)

(I'm not good at updating these days and I'll tell you why: migraine. I found a recent NOTD post I wrote last week but didn't have the time to post. Hope you don't mind!)

Time to show another glorious holographic polishes from China Glazes best collection ever - Kaleidoscope. This time you can feast your eyes on the wonder that's called Octa Gone Wild, a gorgeous linear purple. 

In the bottle, most Kaleidoscope polishes looks like a dull glitter, but fear not: once applied they will show off, even in dull light!

Yep, I'm a huge fan of these. I can't find anything wrong with them. They're quite covering, 2 coats doing the trick if you can survive a little visible nail line (and I can since it's only when the light is hitting it right), and the best part? They show their holo goodness inside, even with very low light. That's one thing I prioritize in a holo polish!

I'm wearing one coat of Nail Tek II, two coats of Octa Gone Wild, and I hadn't put on topcoat on all the pictures... I was afraid it would dull the effect, so I took a few pics before using it, and a few after... and the result was the same. 

The pics with ring is with topcoat and the ones without is a mix, I think. 

I wore this colour for 3 days without chips, just very minor tipwear. For any lacquerhead, that's a while, right?! LOL

Instead of wasting your time reading my boring opinion, let's skip ahead to what really matter... Picspam!

For once, I decided to go nuts with pictures. Recently, I've begun to think about the appearance of my posts - is it getting to the point where I blabber on about boring details and not showing enough pictures? LMK in the comments, I appreciate your honesty on this matter.. I don't want to bore you to death! :)

I cheated a little... You might not notice it, but the ring is not made with Octa. It's OPI DS Original, a polish which I have yet the pleasure of wearing (saving it for another sunny day). But I think it suited the mani quite nicely anyway ;)

Gosh : Holographic

Gosh is one of few Danish make up companies. For as long as I can remember, I've been drooling over their stands in drugstores, always looking at their nail polish. They've always carried exciting, different colours, far away from safe reds and nude pinks. Before I realized I was becoming a nail polish addict, I had a few of their polishes - and it was amongst my favourites. Before this turns into a patriotic post sounding like a commercial, LOL, let focus on what this post is really about - my point being that Gosh is a widely known brand within the nail polish community... And much of it is because of one of their most adored polishes. If there's one polish Gosh is known for, it's Holographic.

In the bottle, Holographic looks like a silver polish - and that's what I thought it was until I looked up swatches when I started getting into nail polish. Then I had an OMG moment and rushed to the stores the day after, LOL! 

Now, it will be a bit of a problem child if you're cheap and don't invest in a good base coat - I conveniently bought the Fix Base Coat from Gosh when their lacquers where 40% off. Gosh even added a sticker to Holographic advising people to use the right base coat. And no, it really isn't just a sales trick trying to get you to invest more money in their products - it will save you many tears and even coats of Holographic.

Fix Base Coat is slow drying, but it's worth it. It dries with what I'd say is a "good-gripping" feel to it. I failed while swatching this; apparently I didn't even out the layer on my ring finger, so the weird blob you can see on my pictures is because of that. I recommend thin coats ;) I used two coats of Holographic, and no topcoat - it dries really fast.

I had a few issues photographing this wonder - in my lightbox, the flash washes out the holo effect, and without, it's back to looking plain silver. I therefore went outside, and although there's a lot of better pictures out there, I think I got a few decent shots (it will be a quest of mine to photograph this properly one day), at least it's better than a post without pictures, right?

Isn't it amazing? The only downside is the dullness inside - which is the reason I'm not wearing this more often. I'm looking forward to be using this in the Summer, being outside most of the day blogging in the shadow.. I'm sure this will keep me good company those days ♥

I contacted Gosh through their danish website, and the rumour is true.. It's discontinued. I'm proud to say, almost a bit embarrassed even, that I emptied all the shops around me while they were on sale. Can you blame me for wanting back-ups? :)

Oh, while I were contacting them, I asked them if they were planning to release new holographic polishes, but sadly, there's no plans about this right now. I'm in the mood to start a petition, LOL! Wouldn't it be amazing to see a dark blue, purple, even green holographic polish? While I accept the effect will be lessened when you add colour to the mix, it would be worth it!

China Glaze : Rated Holographic (+ matching ring!)

Today I want to show you my new love.

I have no idea why I never gave China Glaze Rated Holographic a chance until now. And truth be told I ordered it in the belief that it would be a rusty, red holographic - which isn't quite right (even though my bottle picture shows it as a hint too red. It's more true to the ring pictures).

Rated is from China Glazes much coveted Kaleidoscope collection. I have quite a few of the colours myself, but I have put off wearing them until the sky clears and I can enjoy them in their full glory. The thing is... Rated is gorgeous even on a cloudy day. Heck, I didn't even mean to be wearing it, I was supposed to swatch a few colours and started with applying Rated on four nails. It quickly made it's way onto the last six, and before I knew it, I was making a ring to match it as well.

I used my regular base coat, NailTek II, 2 coats of Rated and no topcoat this time. It dried really fast and with a satin kind of finish - where have I been living the past months during the holo craze around the blogs? I thought these were rough to the touch! - and so I left it for once and saved a few drops of top coat, LOL!

Why did Rated surprise me so? It is very similar to OPIs Teenage Dream, and I'm surprised I haven't seen any manicures with these two paired in blogland. Come to think of it, Rated is gorgeous on its own and I didn't even want Teenage Dream on top of it except in the ring to give it more bling, so that might explain it.

If you've noticed the vintage worn looking lid on Rated, you're spot on: it isn't the original foil. It's such a silly thing, but when Rated arrived it was covered in Laser Lime (which sadly didn't survive breaking it's neck. Tragedy!) and the silver foil was gone, making the lid looking like yellowed plastic. I love this polish so much that I decided to used a silver foil polish to paint the lid and sealed it with ChG Fast Forward. Yep, I'm very silly like that. I'm a perfectionist in many ways, and I wanted Rated to look as gorgeous (as possible to remake) as the other 7 Kaleidoscope polishes I have.

Do you like this colour? I don't think I need to repeat myself, but I was really surprised when I tried it. It's amazing! I'm already in the process of ordering a spare bottle of this beauty. I must admit that I'm beginning to like the Kaleidoscope holos far better than OMG holos.

On another note, expect to see rings with many of my posts from now on. Initially I wanted to make a post showing them all, but as I'm always making new ones I decided it'd be much more fun to spice up my plain-looking-manicure pictures.

Catherine Arley #674

I have one of the most holographic Catherine Arley polishes to show you today; #674 :)

 CA holos doesn't show much holo effect in my lightbox, so I included a tiny macro with my regular bottle shot.

 #674 is a baby blue strong linear holographic polish. I want another name for this pretty right away, so let's refer to it as... Squirtle! Another pokemon name for another number - fair trade, right? :)

As always, I decided to start with a base colour, and this time I used Bahamian Escape from China Glaze, quite an opaque baby blue. It's a warm blue, and perhaps a little too warm for my skintone, so I was hoping Squirtle would be of help. I'm not fond of the red-ish colour it makes my skin appear, but oh well, maybe if I get used to it.

I used one coat of Bahamian, then two coats of Squirtle, one coat of China Glaze Fast Forward and were done!

I did the manicure just in time for the last few rays of sunlight, so I took a picture in both sunlight and with flash to show you. It's pretty obvious which is which, but I wrote it on the pics anyway :) My fingers look wrinkly, I hope you don't mind, LOL! They've been working hard today eating uhm, testing cookies I baked with the help of my boyfriend for his B-day.

Once again, I want to mention how my topcoat did not take one teeny bit of the holographic effect away. Thankfully!

Catherine Arley #674 - Squirtle, as it is named in my collection

I would be curious to see how this one compares to other blue holographics since I don't own other! It's on my wishlist, though (at least the list in my head - I forget to update the real version).

Because Squirtle is sheer, I think I want to test it on darker colours soon - it might be possible to make it even more awesome than a baby blue holo - after all, there are a few of those around.

Catherine Arley # 673

Like I mentioned in my previous post, I just can't help but spice a purple creme up - or, as Elzar from Futurama would say - knock it up a notch! (any Futurama lovers out there? I love the Spice weasel! I want to make a franken inspired by it one day ♥)

Anyway, this time I decided it was time to break the seal on another Catherine Arley holographic - #673.

In the bottle, #673 doesn't show a huge amount of holographic awesomeness, but that sure changes when it's applied!

As if I haven't ranted about this before, let me rant (I'm good at that, LOL) about the lack of good names for Catherine Arley polishes... So, once again, I felt like I had to rename this baby - and it is now called Ghastly. Yep, I found another pokémon as inspiration :)

I used my previous manicure, two coats of OPI Pamplona Purple, as base colour. CA holos are, in general, on the sheer side and I don't think it steals away from they gorgeousness to add a base colour - if anything, it makes them more interesting in the lack of sunlight (and we haven't had any around me for a week or more).  I used one coat of Ghastly, finishing off with a coat of Fast Forward - and it did not take away any of the holographic effect.

While Pamplona is definitely much too warm a purple compared to Ghastly, I was surprised to find the result to be good looking despite this! I think Ghastly is a pretty decent linear holo, not linear like Nfu Oh holos or OMG holos, but like other rough, linear holos. I will have to try this baby on its own when the sun shows ♥

It ended up looking much like the bottle colour, don't you think?

Getting tired of seeing Catherine Arley holos, or is it a nice change from the boring Tronica collection? (No disrespect if you like the Tronica collection - after all it does have a few gems, and it's pretty in it's own way - just not very holographic as I hoped for!). As much as I am disappointed in the Tronicas, a few of the colours are speaking to me, so I might get them for stamping purposes.

CA #803 aka Bellsprout vs. L8R G8R - a green holo comparison

Another excuse to flash Bellsprout again! While no-one asked for a comparison, I did one for myself ;) I was curious to see the two compare.

I used one coat of OPI Greenwich Village and two coats of Bellsprout (CA #803) on my middle and pinky.

On my ring finger I used 2 coats of China Glaze L8R G8R (from the OMG collection).

In this picture, I have been wearing Bellsprout for 5 days. Amazing lack of tip wear, eh? I'm beginning to love Catherine Arley holos more and more!

While it's easy to see they're no match, I'm curious to know which of the two you like better. Bellsprout is without doubt my favourite, it goes much better with my skin tone than L8R G8R - but if you go for the most linear holo, L8R G8R is the winner. As for now I'll stick with Bellsprout, but maybe when (if!) I get a little colour on my skin this Summer, I'll try L8R G8R again.

Even though the Tronica collection is like nothing I hoped for, I might be hunting down Laser Lime. While I doubt it'll be no match for Bellsprout, I've come to the conclusion that the base colour of the holo matters more than the effect, and I'm willing to give it a chance :)

Gallimimus Greyn (Franken)

It's time to flash a franken I've been working on for a while! I wore this a few days ago, as I wanted to test the wear (and formula) before writing about it. It also proved to be incredibly hard for me to photograph, so the manicure pictures do not do it justice *sigh*.

It's no secret that I love dinosaurs ♥ They are a great inspiration when I'm creative - this goes for polishes and drawings alike.

Gallimimus Greyn is another franken with dinosaur theme. This time it took me a while to find a fitting name (my ever so supporting boyfriend had to help me again LOL), I wanted the name to fit the colour and the dinosaur to fit it as well. Gallimimus might not be well known, but it's worth a google if you haven't seen it before (well, neither of us have - but you know, illustrations and the like).

Gallimimus Greyn is made with a bunch of different colours - my goal was to make a creamy khaki holo, that would also look good without sunshine. The result? A grey khaki creme, lots of shimmer with very sporadic holo particles in direct sunlight. I like it, though - this type of shimmer is my favourite :)

I had to use two coats for opacity - the formula is easy to work with, though I wish I had used another bottle with a better brush! It was terrible. I slapped on a hand drawn Galli on the bottle for the fun of it ;)

I took a lot of pictures of this polish in all sorts of lights. It's incredibly hard to capture, and I'd say the RL colour is a bit lighter than the colour in the pictures.

I made a mosaic to show you this colour in a bunch of different angles - and the last picture with with a little scotch tape (inspired by the scotchtape goddess Erika), and Catherine Arley 676, I believe. The daylight picture is the best I can show you how the polish looks most of the time - with silver shimmer. Sadly, topcoat took away the possibility of seeing even the slightest hint of holo, as you can see in the same picture.

This is how I like it the best - no topcoat and a heavy flash from my camera to pick up holo sparkles! I wish it looked the same in everyday light ;)

Not all frankens turn out the way I want them to. Gallimimus Greyn is a bit fail, even though I like the colour, it's just not what I wanted. My quest for a good recipe to make a holo khaki is still on, LOL. Maybe I'll skip the creme part next time.

As soon as the sun started showing today, I knew I had to do swatches of some of my Catherine Arley polishes. I have a lot of them, but today I'll be showing you two featured in the giveaway - so you know what you're entering to win! :)

CA #676, 3 coats, no topcoat, sunlight. Excuse my lobster-looking hands, it was freezing!

Let's start with #676, a silver holo. I used three coats for this picture, and as you can see it is very sheer. I recommend it as a holo-topcoat, using a silver as base if you want it to look remotely like in the bottle, or just plain use it for frankens! It's always fun to holofy a franken! :)

Next up is #666:

Two coats. This is more like it! While it was definitely sheer in indoor-light, I think it could be totally opaque in three coats.

Holo-madness! Catherine Arley #667

Today I'm wearing a holographic pretty I got recently. I bought quite a few Catherine Arley polishes with the help of a sweet Bulgarian :) Catherine Arley is a Turkish brand from what I understand, and each nail polish cost me about 1.50$ . A big thank you to Emerald Sparkled, who showed these beautiful holos on her blog! Without that post I never would've known they existed.

#667 is a dark grey holographic polish a very strong holo effect. In order to show you how pretty this gorgeous polish is without having any kind of natural light, let alone sunlight, I had to play with some artificial light and it made my fingers go red and yellow. Please excuse that, but I'm sure you'll agree that the polish is more important :)  

This picture shows the effect and the density of the holo effect very well, however a bit washed out, the colour is more accurate on the following pictures. I hope I can get better pics during the weekend, if so I will update this post.

I'm wearing two thick coats and one coat of Seche Vite. I found that while the top coat was drying, the holo effect was very muted compared to the nails without, but once it dried fully there was no difference other than the finish, which were more shiny. So there's no need to skip the topcoat on this one ;)

As for how rough the holo glitter particles are, it compares to GOSH - Holographic. It's rougher than OMG holos, but finer than Kaleidoscope holos.

This was one of my fav Catherine Arleys going from the bottles when I received them, and it certainly hasn't disappointed me! The price is unbeatable and the result is... Holo! ♥ It really says it all.

NOTD : Color Club Revvvolution!

Hey guys! Hope you're having as great a start on the new year as I am; it's busy but it's been a good kind of busy :)

I'm on a holo craze, I think most nail polish fanatics out there got excited about Tronica from China Glaze which will be released in a few months. A few people have already got ahold of it, and I must say that I've been severely disappointed in the swatches. Almost no holo at all :( Even so, I'm hoping to try them out and find love for them anyway LOL - maybe they're not OMG substitutes but they deserve a chance to be their own pretties :)

Anyway, I decided that I needed a few more holos in my life - right now. As in, I had to check out Ebay and find a few pretties to pass time a little quicker :) I quickly decided it had to be a dark shade, and I found Revvvolution which is rather cheap. I wasn't too impressed with the bottle pics I saw, but thought it was worth a try. 

And boy, is it worth the pennies ♥ It's as close as you get to a black holographic polish!

I only used one coat - yes, one coat - and it wasn't a thick one either. The holo effect is gorgeous, it's subtle compared to some brands like NfuOh and China Glaze's OMG collection, and it's more scattered than those as well. I still love it - it's dark, it's got rainbow particles, I'm sold :)

I decided to take a picture before putting topcoat on, because I've heard rumours it takes some of the holo effect. It never has in my experience, and this one proved to be just as holo, if not even prettier (with the added shine and all), with a top coat (Seche Vite). I'll show you both pictures anyway ;)

If you like dark and bold holos, and don't want to spend too much either, I can def. recommend Revvvolution. It's opaque in only ONE coat! Sure, there's holos out there with much more holo effect - but I have yet to find a dark grey / black one :) It's not my fav holo, but it's on my holo top 10 for now!

MAC - Peppermint Patti

Yay, one of my lemmings arrived! I've wanted this since I saw it on Neglenymfernes blog a long time ago.. A few months ago I decided it was time to let the hunt begin. I've been stalking ebay for 3 months waiting for a good deal, and finally!

It started out as an auction with a really sweet seller, but when I wanted to make a bid I couldn't because of the bidding settings. She hadn't checked to see if they allowed international bidding even though I asked in advance. The auction ended with only one bidder and I was gutted, as it ended way cheaper than I would've paid lol. So I wrote the seller and said that I was sorry I couldn't bid but that it was okay, and told her if the buyer never paid I would love a second chance.

Guess what? The winner didn't pay (and I really wonder why! It was cheap, even shipping was cheap, and the colour... who doesn't want this pretty? :0 I'll probably never know LOL). It arrived within a few days even being so close to Christmas, so I decided to try it out instead of my Christmas polishes! Can you blame me? ;)

I'm wearing three coats as this polish is really thin (thankfully, it was easy to work with even so), one coat of Seche Vite and a holo stamped lollipop & sparkle on my middle finger. It's subtle, but it added a little bit of bling ;)

Does it live up to my expectations? Yup, I'd say so! I had imagined it was a bit more turqouise and darker - but I love it even though it's a pale green ♥ I can't wear many of those as solid cremes!

INK by Dennis Knudsen #12 Petrol

I was checking out sales during the last Open by Night in the town I live in a week ago. Open by Night is a night where shops stay open until 11 or so, usually having a lot of special offers and sales. This time it was a bit "meh", nothing too exciting was on sale, so I decided to splurge on a nail polish I've had a secret crush on in Matas. I have previously purchased a polish from H&M called Moody Model, as I thought they were identical - but I decided I couldn't live without "the real deal" - the one I initially fell for.

The polish is called #12 Petrol and is a limited edition polish of the INK collection by Dennis Knudsen. I'm no make-up brand whore, in fact I use very little make-up besides nail polish and eyeliner. I haven't tried any products from the DK range, but I liked the design (it's simple, black and white - it's like a danish, small brand version of Illamasqua and NARS).

It's a very dark teal colour, or as you would refer to it, petrol. This colour in all it's shades is one of my favourite nail polish colours - I can't get enough of it. It's that perfect dark shade of blue with a hint of green ♥

Price wise, the bottle compares to Illamasqua - but is more expensive per ml. 

8 ml INK costs the equivalent of  14,75 €,

15 ml Illmasqua costs 15,30 €

It doesn't take too many brain cells to figure out which is cheaper. For what it's worth, INK is 3-Free and free of perfumes and parabens (which means a lot to me. I try to steer clear of polishes not 3-Free, though some containing toluene slips through my net).

Is INK worth the price? I had to try it to find out!

I used my regular basecoat, NailTek II and applied two coats of Petrol. It has a wonderful formula, was very easy to control and second layer smoothed it out perfectly. It had an average to good drying time, and there was no bubbles. It has a consistency somewhat similar to jellies - it's liquid, super shiny but at the same time very covering. Kind of like the base of Lippmanns Across the Universe - it looks like a jelly but applies like a creme. I LOVE jellies and jelly-cremes ♥ And a jelly-creme that only needs two coats is a winner in my book. It does stain, so be sure to use a good base and apply it as neatly as possible. My cuticles sure wish I knew this beforehand, LOL.

I compared Petrol to Moody Model, and they are not a match. If you'd like to see this compared to other teals, LMK and I'll do a comparison!

I decided to spice it up with a little stamping and dotting, for this I used my fav blue holo - DV8 from China Glaze's OMG collection.Topped it off with one coat of Seche Vite to protect the stamps.

I forgot to take pics before stamping, d'oh! I hope it gives you a good idea of Petrol anyway - if you like teal colours and don't mind the price, Petrol is amazing. I would spend the money again if I had to, and have been thinking about getting a spare bottle eventually.

I can't say if all INK polishes are as great as I found this, but I'm curious to find out - if only my wallet allowed me! Have you tried some?

This month's big haul!

My parents invited me on a trip next month to visit my brother in Germany, I can't wait! It's been a while since he was home in DK to visit us, and there's still a long time 'till christmas, so it's awsome to be able to see him sooner! I'm meant to save for the trip (and I am doing my best!), but of course a "few" nail polishes has found their way home to my stash... A lot of new brands I've never tried, some I've been dying to try.. and some because you grab 'em when you get the chance! I have one more package on the way, but I swear it's the last I'm getting for November. 

I forgot to take pics of my two new bottles of China Glaze Peppermint cuticle oil, but both the one the seller resend and the spare I bought arrived without breaking! *phew* So now I have deliciously smelling oil for my poor cuticles :) I can see improvement already, but I'm going to use it daily until I'm satisfied.

I've also received a lot of nail art goodies, such as 60 cheap nail art pens, the little haul I bought from Mardys makeup shop, rhinestones, beads and detail brushes I'll be using for my future nail art. I made a pretty funky design Thursday, which I'm still wearing, but it's for a nail art contest and I won't show you before it's over. I sure won't win but the design means something for me so it'll be good to be able to share it anyway ;)

First, Mardy's daughter Mandy kindly offered to pick up some nail polishes from my wishlist I can't get online or in DK. I've been drooling over these, especially Choose Me ever since I saw them the first time online this summer. I'm ver so grateful she helped me out, thank you so much Mandy! ♥

These might not be high-street insanely hard to get and expensive, but to me they're just as amazing.

Next up is a package from Illamasqua, including two nail polishes I have been drooling over. I allowed myself to splurge and buy Raindrops since I've literally been thinking about it ever since I saw a post on Nihrida's awsome blog. This polish has, no kidding, been haunting me in my dreams. When I was going to order anyway, I decided this little pretty shouldn't have to travel all by itself, and I've had a good eye to Rampage, so I ordered it as well.

Also featured in this picture is my very first polishes from the amazing brand Nfu-Oh. And they are definately not my last. I have been lemming NARS' Zulu, and decided to get Nfu-Oh's #569, a green jelly that looks somewhat similar (and I will have to fight the supposedly bad application when the time comes. An awsome colour is worth it!). My fiancé was so sweet to offer t pay for it, so I decided to order one of their famous flake polishes as well! ♥ My choice fell on #56, which looks amazing with #569.

Last, but certainly not least, a great find from a "sell your old clothes & misc" site... Polishes that I have been drooling over - both colour-wise and name-wise, they have so brilliant names! plus they're insanely sparkly! I was so bummed when I found out they're virtually impossible to get. Well now I get to cross almost all of them off my wantlist!! ♥

China Glaze's awsome OMG collection!! And 6 of the best colours, even so! I still can't believe they're mine. The girl that was selling them actually had a few more from the series, but I couldn't allow myself more than 6, so I took the ones I like the most :) Maybe I can go back after the rest later... *looks in empty wallet*

My favourites name-wise are LOL and OMG. Both are expressios I use too often ;) Colourwise, DV8 has stolen my heart - I love everything turquoise, teal and blue-green!

I paid about 10-12$ each, and they have been used on 1-10 nails one time each. I don't know if it's outrageously expensive and it was in fact her that made a good deal LOL but I don't care. I wanted them so badly!
